Advantages of a Canadian Work Visa:

- Prohibition against engaging in work involving sexual favors or messages.
- Good health, verified by a medical certificate.
- A commitment to leave Canada within the specified period if employment is terminated.
- Ability to provide all required documents upon entering Canada.

- Valid passport with at least 6 months’ validity upon entering Canada.
- Two passport-size photographs.
- Proof of educational qualifications (certificates).
Types of Work Visas in Canada:
Applicants can choose between an open work permit or an employer-specific work permit. An open work permit allows work for any employer, while an employer-specific permit restricts employment to the sponsoring employer.

Work Permit Application Process:
To secure your work visa, follow these steps carefully:
Applying for the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA):
Canadian employers must obtain an LMIA to hire foreign workers. A positive LMIA indicates a genuine need for foreign skills to fill a specific job, with no available Canadian candidates. The Employment and Social Development Canada/Service Canada (ESDC) assesses LMIA validity. Applicants should submit a copy of the LMIA, its number, along with their contract and job letter when applying for the work permit.
Applying for the Work Permit:
With a positive LMIA, the employer can proceed to hire the desired foreign worker. The employer must send a copy of the ESDC confirmation letter to the foreign worker (valid for 6 months). Subsequently, the employer assists the foreign worker in applying for the work visa through the Canadian Visa Office. Upon positive assessment by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the foreign worker may receive the visa, fulfilling their dream of working in Canada.
